Stealing Broomtails – a Film by Robert Douglas Kollar

Our Story…

Every night, sierra, a 17-year-old Indian native, dreams of a horse named Shakespeare and of her father, whom she lost due to a horse accident. While working at The Stables, she comes across the horse of her dreams. She and her friends must rescue this horse and lead local law enforcement to the ruthless rustlers that are stealing horses from local farms.

Stealing Broomtails tackles such issues such as endurance, substance abuse, animal cruelty, racism, bullying, loss, and native family dynamics.

It is an inspiring film of challenges and persistence, of right and wrong, of cultures and humanity: a film for everyone to enjoy.

At MWM Cornerstone, we use scripture as a guide on all issues. We believe that all people are formed by God in the womb with love and purpose, and that we are all created in His image (Psalm 139:13-16 , Genesis 1:27). We value the personhood of every individual – no matter their race, gender, age (including the unborn – without exceptions), occupation, location, or beliefs. We commit to making our company and our work diverse and inclusive, and will not be silent concerning the many issues in our world. As followers of Christ, we are called to follow Jesus’ example of loving others without judgement (John 15:12 , Matthew 7:1-5), actively sharing the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20), and speaking on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves (Proverbs 31:8-9). We are the light of the world (John 8:12). We also know that God is sovereign over all and will reign victorious in justice and truth (Romans 8:28 , Job 42:2 , Psalm 45:4). Our “doors” are open to all.
